BMW K1300S

The BMW K1300S is one of the most appreciated super sport motorcycles in its segment. There is no wonder why, as the bike has anything it needs to be considered a speed demon.

It comes with an aerodynamic design, sport tires and racy suspensions. Needless to say that is also equipped with one of the most capable engines in its class. The engine is a water-cooled 4-stroke in-line four-cylinder-unit, with four valves per cylinder, two overhead camshafts and dry sump lubrication. It has a 1.293 ccm displacement and cranks out 175 hp (129 KW) at 9,250 rpm and 103 ft-lb (140 Nm) of torque at 8,250 rpm. Start the engine and you’ll be rewarded with a throaty sound from a cool, hexagonal tube. Power is send to the wheels through a constant mesh 6-speed gearbox.

Thanks to its sporty pedigree the BMW K1300S is capable to reach a maximum speed of over 200 kmph and has an average fuel consumption of 50 mpg (at a constant speed of 90 kmph).
