My '72 Chevy short bed is coming along, but I need some opinions. I bought an old camper shell for $1 at a swap meet a while back. It's one of those things where you tell yourself "I can use this from something". So that something is this Chevy. I cut the shell down to fit the bed and fabricated a back window from another model. I then made the lower window frame using BMF. I also made a window handle from some old part. Here's the window:
So do you guys like it with a the shell? -
Or without? -
I'm also pretty sure I'm gonna paint it to match the blue on the truck. Wish I could do something to fill up the side of the "blank canvas" on the sides. I'd like to try some graphics but I don't think my talent level is quite that high yet.
