I am fairly new to building model cars and I have run into the same problem on the three cars I have done so far. When I use spray paint to paint the body of the car, I am never able to get the coat to look even. I also have a problem with bubbles forming. I use testors spray paint and and use the spray paint outdoors when the wind is calm. I usually do three coats of paint on the body but let the car sit for 2 days in between each coat. Are there some tips for getting a better, more even coat of paint.
Also, I have trouble getting the other parts of the outside body to match the color of the body. The parts such as the hood, side mirrors and hood hinges. Is it best to paint these after removing them from the packaging or is it better to leave them on the white plastic set and then remove them once it has dried.
Thanks for the tips and suggestions.
