Kawasaki VN1700 Voyager

The Kawasaki VN1700 Voyager was especially developed for long journeys. The bike is equipped with a strong 1700cc V-Twin, long-stroke, liquid cooled, SOHC, 8-valve 1,700 cm3 engine which cranks out 73 hp at 5,000 rpm and 136 Nm of torque at 2,750 rpm.

To keep the engine’s performances to a high level, Kawasaki uses its first fully electronic throttle actuation system which enables the ECU to control the volume of both the fuel (via fuel injectors) and the air (via throttle valves) delivered to the engine. The engine is paired with a six speed transmission. The 6th gear is an overdrive gear, contributing to better fuel economy when cruising at motorway speeds.

Another interesting feature offered by the Kawasaki VN1700 Voyager is its K-ACT ABS system which offers a strong stopping power regardless of the road conditions.

As far as practicality goes, the bike is equipped with a 50 litre lockable topox, 38 litre sealed top-opening panniers and lockable glove boxes.
