I'm doing the trio of vehicles from the middle East special (aka three wise men challenge). they have to drive from Iraq to Bethlehem (Israel), including across the Syrian desert.
This is the WIP of Clarkson's Mazda. The kit is Aoshima Mazda Roadster. This is the only version i could find of this particular year model, the Angel Beats roadster.
The car is kerbside (ie no engine), but is beautifully detailed and molded. i've painted the body, although it didn't come out as nice as i'd hope as the tape started to unstick, among other things. i painted it white, masked it, painted it yellow, masked it, and so forth until all the stripes were on then painted it gold to fill in the spaces. the rest will be built stock apart from a few touches, like the 'bbq spoiler'.
